That won't mean anything to anybody who doesn't already know me and know the situation, buuuuut

I completely rehabbed my shoulder!!!

In only 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



(Note: No, I'm not done with therapy, nor is it completely healed. Completely rehabbed simply means I now have a full range of motion back, and can move my arm with little to no pain at all)


So this doesn't mean I can poi again, I'm still a while from that, and I still have slight pain going behind my head, but I have a full range of motion...



And this is FINALLY some good news upon all this fail.

Yep...

I'm well known all around so if you're active in the scene you prolly know or have met me, minus the last 2 months.


I was getting all hardcore, then my shoulder messed up and I had to have surgery...

And then recover, and still have a bit left of therapy, which kinda grounded me, but now I'm back to ballin'.




And yeah, the shoulder was messed up during poi, but it wasn't poi's fault. I'm pretty godly with some poi =D

So I was getting all into myself like I always do, being amazing and shit (it's a consistency thing) XD



But anyways, both my tendons tore and I had a slap tear on anterior cartilage, and an orthiogram showed I had two bone tumors on my shoulder, but it wasn't poi's fault cuz the surgeon said when they operated they discovered I had a birth defect that both the tendons were crossed (they aren't supposed to even touch), so it was only a matter of time before they tore regardless of what I was doing that contracted that muscle.


It's sucked but it's all good. I can pretty much poi (only a very few things are still limited, and they will come soon enough). That and I already rehabbed the shoulder and have my range of motion back so all therapy is is pretty much working out really hard, just isolating those muscles in the shoulder that atrophied from weeks in a sling. (muscles can begin to atrophy within 48 hours of immobilization)

And it's hard, but it's all good cuz it's starting to build up those muscles, like I'm just starting to beefcake up by force. Oh, and I'm sure that after therapy is done I'm going to actually start seriously working out because having to do it three times a week has kinda got me in the habit of working out regularly so....










But EVERYBODY needs to go to buzzfest. I'm going to spin fire for the first time since my surgery and I promise the same level it's always been...
